Susi specialises in helping clients to develop new forms of online engagement and marketing through creating and managing compelling online content and communities.

A brief history

Susi O’Neill is a member of our international Associate Consultant team, based in the UK. She specialises in digital strategy development and helping clients to develop new forms of online engagement and marketing through creating and managing compelling online content and communities.

Susi has 10 years experience in the digital sector as a producer, website manager and consultant, working with creative media, music, radio and television brands including Universal Music and Capital Radio.

In 2000-2001 she pioneered a number of seminal consumer music marketing and sales projects including branded gaming and SMS marketing.

From 2001-2006 she was the Head of New Media for international travel television producers Pilot Productions, where she led the company to develop and grow profitable online revenues including e-commerce, IPTV, digital distribution and publications.

Susi specialises in developing business skills within the digital sector through coaching and consultancy, and digital skills within all business and community sectors to ensure clients have the knowledge and strategic approach they need to succeed.

She is a prolific author, public speaker and blogger. Her areas of specialism include disruptive innovation, innovation management, social media planning, online brand entertainment and digital music distribution.

She was the first person in the UK to achieve the Diploma in Strategic Business Coaching from the Chartered Management Institute and holds a masters degree in Media Enterprise.

Susi is currently based in the Midlands, UK, where she is actively involved in local and regional development activities supporting the skills and growth of the digital and creative sectors, including working as a consultant, programme manager and strategy advisor to four Regional Development Agencies. She is a Director of several initiatives to support her local digital business community and promote digital inclusion, including establishing website and network Creative Nottingham and delivering digital advice and training to community groups.

Her interests include interactive drama and music. She is a practicing musician and recording artist giving workshops, recording sessions and television appearances, and she is an internationally regarded player of the theremin, the world’s first electronic musical instrument.
